Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD)

The CARD Teen Services Program is tailored to the specific needs of adolescents and addresses a wide range of skills and deficits and is adapted to meet each individual’s unique needs and aspirations. Specifically, the program targets communication skills, adaptive skills (i.e., dressing, making meals, toileting, etc.), and problem behaviors. Additionally, this program provides sliding scale ABA therapy for families with children with Autism.

This program provides:

– ABA Therapy for families with children with Autism
– Daily life skills training (communication, adaptive skills, behavioral issues, etc.)

The CARD Teen Services curriculum is based upon a specific skill hierarchy that addresses personally relevant skills within each curricular domain before moving on to the next domain in the hierarchy. Each of the skill domains are comprised of skill targets that facilitate the achievement of long-term goals.
