Misson:
The mission of Hope’s Door New Beginning Center is to offer intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and to provide education programs that enhance the community’s capacity to respond.


How to Apply: Call

Support: United Way of Collin County, Texas Department of Human Services, City of Plano, Victims of Crime Act grant, US Dept. of Justice and private donations.

Services: Serves women and children who are victims of family violence. Provides shelter for up to thirty (30) days; food; clothing; counseling; transportation and resources and referrals. Offers counseling for children. Offers information on family violence, victims’ rights and client advocacy. Support groups and aftercare support groups for former residents. A Battering Intervention and Prevention Program provides specialized treatment for individuals who are abusive to an intimate partner- Operates 24 hour crisis line. Offers workshops, seminars and In-service training on family violence to lay and professional groups.
