Promise House (Youth)

Services: Emergency youth shelter with maximum 30-day stay for runaways or youth ages 10-17 in crisis. Provides family counseling to both shelter residents and non-shelter residents and their families, crisis intervention, and aftercare counseling to families and youth. Also accepts youth for short-term crisis intervention (1-3 days of care). Educational programming for residential youth and day school for youth who cannot attend regular school classes. Family support groups for youth and their families who live within the community. Transitional Living Program for youth ages 16-24 for up to 18 months. Preventive drug and alcohol programming to shelter populations. Residential services for homeless parenting teens ages 14 to 24 and their children in group homes and subsidized apartments.
