OUR MISSION
Providing those who are deaf and hard of hearing the means to ensure advancement through education, economic security and good health.

WHY WE DO IT
To make a positive change in the lives of those who are hearing, Deaf, and hard of hearing. To support anyone at any age to reach their full potential. To eliminate barriers that are imposed on people who are Deaf and hard of hearing.


How to Apply: Referral, walk-in, or phone. Interpreters on-call to emergency service providers on a 24-hour basis

Support: Government contracts, foundation grants, churches, donations, and contributions.

Services: Federal, state, local government, contributions, and United Way Services: Information and referral, job placement and training, certified American sign-language and oral interpreters to deaf and hard of hearing people. Realtime captioning is also available. Provides adult basic education and sign language classes. Specialized services for individuals who are hard of hearing. Operates a senior program. Advocacy for individuals and groups. Literacy training classes. Housing: 40 apartment units for deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf/blind.
