The Wilkinson Center Food Pantry

Breaking the poverty cycle requires more than meeting basic needs. As one of the largest comprehensive poverty prevention agencies in Dallas, the Wilkinson Center utilizes a holistic approach designed to empower individuals and families.


Adult Education
• Various programs including career coaching, financial literacy, GED, ESL, and job training to assist those with the desire to become self-sufficient by providing the tools and skills necessary to set goals and achieve sustainable economic independence.

Food Pantry
• Provides one week’s supply of food (more than 40,000 pounds of emergency food) to hungry Dallas families EVERY MONTH. Approximately one-third of our Food Pantry clients are children.

Case Management
• Individualized self-sufficiency plans for stabilized clients are created from entry into the Wilkinson Center process to one-year past graduation from our programs.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Tuesday – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
